Muselisation

Was doing a spring cleaning for my room today, dug out all the soft toys that are on my displat shelf. Forgot when was the last time I had move them all out and give their house a spring cleaning. As I was removing each and everthing from it original place, different memories from different part of my life started floating in my mind. Some of the toys were those I got during childhood days. In particularly a coin bank from KFC, remember those days when I was young and still a kid with single digit in my age. Back then my family was quite poor and many times my parents couldn't afford expensive gifts and toys for us and it was only on special on occassion that they will bring us to fast food restaurants for meal. During those time, being able to have a meal of KFC was like the happiest thing that could ever happen to us in our life. Though a goldfish memory person I am but I can remember things we use to do, places we use to go and moments we use to share together when I was young. This memories left concrete prints in me that there is no way one can remove it just like that. Believe me or not, those free toys that we got from the happy meals are still in my display shelfs. Some of them may have been discarded by my mother during some spring cleaning but trust me I still belive which toys are that.
It was a long way and a tough way my family have taken to attain what we have today, though we are not rich but comparatively we are in a much better situaion than we were in the past. All these effort very much goes to my parents for their perseverence, things don't come by easily and there is always a price to pay behind every success. These are what I have learn from years of hardship.

Hey hey it's me, I'm back. I apologise for the MIA during these few months, as I was rather busy with my temp work. Although I only have to work like 5 days a week but the rest of the days were spent going out with friends and accompanying him. So many things have happen during this period of time. I promise to update you people with all the things that has taken place, but please do give me sometime to do so ya.

Nicky girl's birthday
Nicole's birthday was on 11/12/05, so she actually meet us up on the 10/12/05 to dine with us. We met up and went to had Marché at The Heeren. Her intial intention was to go The Balcony but by the time we are done with our dinner, it was full house already, instead we head for the Starbucks at california gym side and just slack our time away. It was the first time we ppl we meet up after the trip to the Singapore Zoo, miss this peepz so badly that I was so excited and happy to see them. But sadly, papajoa and XD wasn't there to enjoy with us as one was in Bintan while the other one was on her way to Japan to hook some Motorlas up.

Eve of Christmas 2005
Daric has invited us the mahjong gang over to his house for a christmas steamboat party just like last year. But this time round we are having games and present exchaning which definately added more fun to it.
Ay and me met up Daric at this house after which we head to Toa Payoh to stock up the dishes and to meet up with my Alvin dear. Although it was pouring cats and dogs but it definately did not stop us from shopping for the foods. We bought a lot of things such as beer, santa hats, prawns, squid and etc.
Here is a foto of AY and Daric preparing the squid, so you people who has consume the squid this is what these two ppl have done to them to make it taste nicer, Lol~!




After preparing the food the four of us went to change into our uniforms and await for the other to arrive.

When the people arrive I shall be the door bitch to collect the cover charge while Daric will give each of them a kiss on the hand with my lipstick and lastly AY and Alvin will distribute the party hat and party poppers.

Daric's parents added the menu with abalone, log cake, turkey and susages. Trust me, it was really a fulfilling meal la.




Looks like some CNY reunion dinner instead ya?? Lol~!

X'mas party @ Mel's place
Together we also celebrated Sam & Nick boy's bday on the same day, as Sam's bday falls on the 25th and Nicky's falls on the last day of the year.

Jen and me met up at Mel's place to do the necessary buying so that we can whip a feast for the ppl. Apparently I have yet to receive any fotos from the ppl yet so till then please bear with it for the time being ya.

Unforgettable New Year Eve
Last day at work for the year, and there were many farewell party going on in the office as most of the temp stuffs working there are going back to school and so they have to stop work. Good luck and all the best to Kai Li, Terence and Reuben.
Had massive arguments with Alvin past few nights, and he finally call for a break up in the afternoon. While everyone were making arrangement for celebration with friends and love one, I was drown by the tears from my eyes by the river bank at Tg Rhu. What a day and a time to choose to broke up on. But come to think about it, welcoming the new year with everything starting afresh is not a bad idea.

Met up with AY in the afternoon to get XF's present, and pamper myself with a mini skirt which cost from 47 bucks from Area 51 @ Far East Plaza. It had a num 69 sew on to it, didn't realise it's 69 until Tze Min told me so in the evening. Afterwhich went to XF's hus to attend her Bday party in the early evening.

After the birthday party AY and I headed to Changi Airport to meet up with Daric and the rest for dinner at Crystal Jade and later on Mahjong at Daric's place.

Subsequently after that, every Saturday I am at Daric's place mahjonging with the people with the group.
