A Week of Movie, Booze and Jazz...

As all knows I am never a fan of super heroes... Nonetheless, last week when a friend was nice enough to offer me a movie pass to the premier of Ironman 2, I decided to give it a shot.
For once, I was really enjoying the movie, not too bad of a storyline and utterly impress with the special effects that was presented in the show...

Quite a few scenes in the show that was taking place at Tony's house really amazes me. The advancement of the technology with the entire house fully computerize and the ability to communicate with the computer and robot, dropping instructions to them off from your mouth directly... That is really impressive.

According to a friend, more than 50% of the special effect in Ironman 2 was constructed by the crew of Lucas Film in Singapore... Which means, Singapore plays a big part in this film too~!!!

I rate Ironman II:

Ending the weekday at the Ice Cold Beer with Sec Sch friends of The Best Friend...
What more can you ask for when you get to drink the night off and get high with a great bunch of companion after a super stressful week... Shiokness x 10...

Saturday was another night of boozing away, but with the additional companion of Jazz... The night started off with attending the Lisa Ono's concert, which was really fantastic...

The first half of the concert was more like a warm-up for her, not exactly impressive, but was definitely good enough. However, when we came back from the 20 minutes intermission, together with her group of musicians she uses her voice to led the crowd to the next level of what I call enjoyment. It was really so great listening to her, her voice was able to bring you into the picture and makes you feel totally submerge in the music. As she said, "I can sing forever..." I guess for me, "I can listen to her forever too..."

The group then proceed to Axis Bar @ Oriental Hotel for the continuation of Jazz-ing the night away...
